नेल्सन मंडेला साउथ अफ्रीका के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति रह चुके हैं। ये एक राजनीतिज्ञ व समाज सुधारक हैं। इन्होने अंग्रेजो की रंग-भेद नीति का विरोध किया। और दंडस्वरूप अपने जीवन के 27 साल जेल में गुजारे।
